Mission
To welcome more women into the sport of ultrarunning in a dynamic and inclusive way.
Vision
To create gender equity within the sport of ultrarunning, and to help the ultrarunning community become a space where all women feel safe, welcomed, and supported.
Guiding principles
- Women belong in the sport of ultrarunning
- We believe in equity, fairness, and inclusion in ultrarunning at all experience levels regardless of ability, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, and/or gender expression, age, physical or mental disability, economic status, sexual orientation, or all other intersecting identities held by our members.
- All women are women and all women are welcome in this community.
We have a zero tolerance policy surrounding disrespect of others, exclusion of others, hate speech, and discrimination - Increasing the accessibility to the sport through community, support, and education will in turn increase the numbers of women running ultramarathons
- A curiosity about the world of ultrarunning is all that is needed! You do not need to have run an ultra to be a part of this community
- Our community and events are designed to be accessible to people of all abilities and experience levels. At our runs we are pace-inclusive and will ensure that no runner is ever left behind
